 I first met Tamara during my first FX campaign while preparing for the Rio 2016 Olympics. She already had an Olympic gold medal, and seeing her in the boat park for the first time was a privilege.Having her as an opponent has always been a great challenge, as she has always been highly competitive and an excellent strategist, which forced us to work even harder to beat her in competitions. No obstacle ever stopped her.

Her dedication to the sport and her tireless pursuit of excellence make her a role model both within and outside the sailing world, setting an example for many other women.
